Step Two: Application 

ANY STUDENT,  (YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE NOMINATED TO APPLY) application meetings can be found on the Google Form Application. The Video will explain PAL responsibilities, expectations, volunteer, mandatory service, & service projects.  

-Applications meetings are in video format.

-Turn in application by deadline.

Failure to submit the application as designed by the instructions will result in disqualification from the process. 

Step Three: Evaluations (Mid March)

This step is where you will need to begin to ask your teachers to evaluate you. 

- Each student will be listed on an evaluation form and forwarded to all teachers and administrators.

- Staff will evaluate students they are currently teaching or have taught within the one school year.

- Students will be scored based on 5 categories. Categories: (trust, respect, honesty,attendance, leadership)

- Students must have a minimum of 5 teacher evaluations to be eligible.

-It is the students responsibility to ensure they have met all requirements. You will need to ensure that you have met all requirements for the process. You will need to be proactive!

Step 4 Notification

• Based on your teacher evaluations you will be notified via your LTISD.NET email account if you have been invited to interview and with instructions on how to schedule your interview.

Step 6 Interviews

• Applicants will be invited to partake in an interview on April 15/16 for PAL II and 18/19 for PAL III

• These are professional interviews. IT IS HIGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE INTERVIEW WORKSHOP.

• Each Interview will be about 10 minuets and students will be asked between 8-10 questions regarding but not limited to

  • Character

  • Integrity

  • Compassion

  • Kindness

  • Leadership

  • Responsibility

  • Punctuality
