Below are instructions on how to sync your Google Classroom gradebook to your Infinite Campus Gradebook. Please look through the steps carefully to make sure that you do it correctly!
Go to Google Classroom and choose one of your classes to start. These same instructions will need to be repeated for each course. Click the 'Gear/Settings' icon in the top right of your Google Classroom
2. Under 'General' and 'SIS Integration', clikc on 'link'. The primary teacher in IC has to be the one to link the classes. The co-teacher cannot.
3. You need to pay close attention and pick from the drop down bar to pick the correct class & section number and make sure that they match! If you don't see the section information, you may need to reference IC.
Note:
-Quarter classes, you will need to relink your classes each quarter
-Semester classes, you will need to link your classes each semester
4. Under the 'Grading' section, you can use a default grade for missing assignments.
5. From my example below, one student completed the assignment, and 2 others did not. It automatically inserted a 45% after I changed the settings above. You must return work to ALL students in order for it to sync to your gradebook.
6. Once all grades are returned, in the top right corner click on ' Export to SIS'. You can leave the page while it is exporting.
7. Once it is done exporting and you refresh Infinite Campus, you will see an image like this one.
8. You will need to click the assignments that you would like to sync over, and assign the grading task and the category of the assignment.
9. Once you click save, Infinite Campus will reload and update your grades. The "missing" flag on GC does NOT carry over to IC - you will need to flag that yourself if you want it marked in the gradebook.
After any change in Google Classroom, you will need to return the assignment first, and then export to SIS. It will automatically adjust the score in Infinite campus.
