Welcome to ... SCIENCE: In 7^th grade science class we will be studying LIFE SCIENCE. This means we will investigate the needs and characteristics of living things, their internal systems, as well as the systems that sustain living things. Some of the topics we will study include ecology, science inquiry and plant experiments, microscopy, cells & cell processes (photosynthesis and respiration, mitosis), microbes, pathogens and disease, genetics and evolution. Willing students will perform a frog dissection later in the year. Don't worry, alternative activities are available, if you choose.
