Our team needs your support
Team AMORE started as a senior project team in 2021. As part of their senior project, they started the LSSU RobotX Club. The club has had a diverse group of team members from very different backgrounds. The club has sponsored a senior project the last three years since its inception.
LSSU RobotX Club 2021-2022
The 21-22 RobotX Club were the founding members of the club. They were tasked with creating a robotics club at Lake Superior State University (LSSU) as part of their senior project. They acquired the WAM-V hull as part of a grant.

LSSU RobotX Club 2022-2023
The 22-23 RobotX Club were the first members of the club to be able to attend a competition hosted by Robonation. The club worked alongside the senior project AMORE II to develop the systems on the WAM-V for RobotX 2022. The hull of the WAM-V was stuck in customs for RobotX 2022, so the team was only able to use their GNC and vision systems for the competition. The team collaborated with Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and George Mason University (GMU) for RobotX 2022. The club developed the autonomous kayak, the Sardaine for RoboBoat 2023.

LSSU RobotX Club 2023-2024
The 23-24 RobotX Club were the first members of the club to conduct research in the field of conservation biology. The club worked alongside the senior project AMORE III to develop the systems on the WAM-V for RobotX 2024. The club collaborated with Florida Atlantic University for RoboBoat 2024.
