INSURANCE SUMMARY

MARSH INSURANCE

Marsh Insurance provides L+R Group's combined 20 million Public Liability Insurance Policy for the swimming pool complex.

This policy excludes the following:

Any swimming activities outside of our normal programs.
Any non-swim activities, unless specifically agreed.
Water Polo activities.
Alcohol consumption and alcoholic sales.
Any training of professional sports persons, unless specifically agreed.

PLEASE NOTE: Any proposed activities that may be outside the normal opeartions of the pool must be discussed and organised with the L+R Group General Manager, Angus Westaway.

FACILITY STRUCTURE

The Holland Park Management Team is responsible for the daily operations of the facilities and reports to the L+R Group General Manager. All daily operational items should be reported and communicated through the management team.

Any work or employment related items or concerns should be addressed directly with your manager.

If any employees have any major employment or operating concerns and/or issues they feel they cannot resolve with their manager, they can also complete a NOTIFICATION FORM that will notify higher management that can be found on our E-management hub..

CONTRACT SUMMARY

NATURE OF THE CONTRACT

L+R Group has entered into a management and operational agreement with the Bland Shire Council.

ABOUT THE POOL

HOLLAND PARK POOL

Holland Park Pool is located in the town centre on a large block located at 35 Kurrajong St West Wyalong NSW 2835 In 2010, the facaility saw the completion of a upgrade that include a new liner, hydroplay pool, and wet deck area. In 2020 the facility was heated and waterslide updated.

The swimming pool complex consists of:

Solar heated hydroplay pool
Outdoor 8 lane heated 50m pool
Water Slide
Undercover BBQ's
1m Diving Board

There is a wheelchair access ramp available that allows access to the 50m pool.

The complex also offers plenty of spacious lawn areas with plenty of shade available , free BBQ facilities & Kiosk - The Wriggly Bean - Fun, Fantastic Food.

Amenities include both women, unisex and mens change rooms which are located onsite and contain toilets, free heated shower facilities and baby change tables.

With the handy skills tool, parents will love being able to see all the areas where their child(ren) are excelling! View skill attempts, passed skills, and even read feedback from coaches.
Managing makeups
Parents can easily manage makeups by submitting class absences and using makeup tokens - all within The iClassPro App Absences/Makeups tool.
An all-in-one dashboard
With the iClassPro App Dashboard, parents can see when payments are due, announcements such as wishing their student a happy birthday, and view news articles posted by us.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is important because it allows us to reach, nurture and engage with our customers; no matter their location. It is a great avenue to promote what is on at the facility and an easy way to advertise outside of our local area, potentially enticing people to visit our facility.

Our FACEBOOK PAGE is our main social media platform to communicate and promote the facility. Customers should be made aware of our page and are encouraged to send messages via Facebook messenger; therefore, it is important that this gets checked daily and all messages are responded to.

INSTAGRAM

We use INSTAGRAM to promote the facilities with beautiful and amazing photos and videos of the facility, programs and events.

STAFF INDUCTION

Staff Induction Full

Stage 2 of the Induction Process is an on site induction with a manager.

A full facility tour will be conducted along with scheduling the required two training shifts. Once this part of the induction process is completed, it is to be uploaded onto your CANYOU profile.

OPERATING VIDEOS

Videos have been filmed to show how to correctly and safely use the workplace equipment, QR codes are displayed around the facility that can be scanned to watch the work task at any time.

This is to help refresh and remind employees of the required work tasks if they need a refresh.

OPERATING NOTES AND ROUTINES

Operating Notes and Routines will be displayed around all work areas and on the daily work sheet. These documents are key tasks that need to be completed each shift.

When on shift, there is always something to do to ensure the facility is clean, safe, organised and friendly. At no time are staff to be "hanging out in the office", this is a workplace for administrative purposes.

BOOKINGS & COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

Facility bookings must complete an online bookings form ,found on our facility website under online forms.

This provides us with the exact details and requirements for the booking and they also agree with our terms and conditions. All bookings are entered into Ical and an event invite sent for confirmation. All relevant information for the booking should be entered into the calendar.

Commercial operations , such as private learn to swim teachers or scuba diving are also required to provide the manager the following:

Current copies of their qualifications,
Current copy of insurance, and
Pay lane hire fees and charges.

A bookings folder will be setup to store relevant commercial operations details.
