Through collaboration with several partners, this website has been created just for you!

The Lafayette Parish Early Childhood Community Network is a group of programs working together within the larger community to support all families to better prepare all children for Kindergarten. The network consists of over 80 programs serving children birth-to-5 years including:

• Type III Early Learning Centers

• Early Head Start

• Head Start

• Public Preschools

• Non-Public Preschools (NSECD)

• Family Child Care Providers in Academic Approval

We are all working together under the direction of the Louisiana Department of Education to implement the requirements of Act 3 (2012) which supports programs to prepare all children for Kindergarten.
