I chose to take pictures of lipstick in a variety of ways for my final project. I chose this topic because I love what makeup, especially lipstick, symbolizes. Femininity has been a very important topic to me, and I have explored it deeply throughout the last 2 years. I wanted to portray lipstick with different elements of nature. Flowers, shells, and light colors are usually depicted as being feminine and "beautiful", so I wanted to relate cosmetics to that because they are used to make people feel beautiful and confident. I chose to use different pink filters, composition, and bokeh to give my product photography a lighthearted and playful tone.
