About Me: Hello and welcome to Mt. Evans! I'm Katherine Brisse and I'll be your Language Arts teacher this year. This is my 4th year teaching and my 4th year at Euclid. I graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a Bachelor's in English Secondary Education. I am a Colorado native and grew up right here in the Littleton area. I'm an LPS graduate (I went to Euclid and Heritage), and I'm so happy to be back in the Falcon Family. When I'm not at school you can find me either reading, watching The Golden Girls, or playing with my border collies, Indie Blue, Mira Jane, and Cool Whip. Fun fact, Cool Whip is deaf! We communicate using American Sign Language, but she doesn't let her deafness stop her. She is a bundle of fun, and the light of my life. I've played competitive canine frisbee for 22 years and have quite a few awards under my belt! I'm a huge Disney fan and there are Disney items all around my classroom. I cannot wait for a fun and rigorous year.
