Welcome to First Grade!

Hello students and families! I am so excited to be your first grade teacher!!

I am originally from Dallas, Tx but I moved to Colorado June 2022! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with my Bachelors of Education with supplemental ESL (English as a Second Language)! This will be my fourth year teaching and my third year at Wilder!! I love being a part of the Wilder community! I love photography and capturing moments, so you will get to know me more below through photos!

In first grade we are not only going to have so much fun In our classroom, but we are also going to have so much fun In our school! My goal as your teacher Is to create a safe environment that Is filled with laughter, engaging learning, love, and acceptance. Not only will we be a community of leaders and great role models In our classroom, but we will showcase our leadership throughout the entire school. As your teacher, you can count on us filling up our mighty brains with A LOT of knowledge that will make us successful!! In our classroom we will learn, grow, and succeed TOGETHER. We are capable learners who can count on each other for anything.

This is my husband, Jack! We got married August 31, 2025! Jack Is a CVICU nurse at the VA In Denver, maybe he will pop in to teach us all about hearts!! Jack loves to go flyfishing, and like me, loves to be outdoors!!

One of the most Important things about me Is my family! I am VERY close to my parents and my siblings. They have shaped me Into the person I am and I am forever grateful. My goal In life Is to live life without fear and embrace every challenge that may come my way head on! So, you will catch me outdoors as much as possible taking a ton of photos and videos no matter what I am doing. Being able to look back and cherish all of the precious moments life has offered me Is extremely Important to me (as you can tell)!

Iced caramilizer with an extra shot of espresso & oat milk (dutch bros)
iced upside down Caramel Macchiato with an extra shot & oat milk (starbucks)

**I am lactose intolerant so oat milk / almond milk to sub :) **

Soda: Dr. Pepper / vanilla coke

Snack: I say any salty (healthy) snack, but i love Spicy Chips!

Hobby: Photography / videography

Store: Target, amazon, lulu lemon (or anyone outdoor/athletic wear).

Restaurant: Udom Thai, Angelo's Tavern, Einstein bagels
