About Ms. Key

I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver, in December of 2020, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a licensure in K12 Art Education. I grew up in LPS, but I officially joined the Heritage family as a teacher in March of 2021, and I am proud to be an Eagle!

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, making art, binge watching TV shows, and cuddling with my 4 cats. I also have a really awesome dog named Sadie - so it is a full house!

As an Art Educator, my objective is to create a safe and equitable learning environment where my students are provided with the necessary tools and resources they need to become real-world problem solvers and critical thinkers. I accomplish this through the use of a standards- based, culturally responsive curriculum that relies on student choice and autonomy, while maintaining an environment full of experimentation.
