All AP Seminar students are expected to check Google Classroom daily for assignments and updates. Assignments will show up on the calendars below, which are marked according to period. Please note that I have two sections of AP Seminar and may take a couple weeks to complete grading on extended assignments. I will rotate sections while grading to alleviate the turnaround time for each group.
Please email me with any questions or concerns you may have about the course, expectations, or testing. Please read through the AP Seminar Syllabus and our College Board-approved requirements for additional information.
For information regarding the district opt/out policy for controversial material, please visit the Parent's Rights page. Assigned novels will include Into the Wild and Catcher in the Rye. Please also read and consider the College Board Disclaimers that accompany AP Seminar.

College Board Plagiarism Policy:
To the best of their ability, teachers will ensure that students understand ethical use and acknowledgment of the ideas and work of others as well as the consequences of plagiarism. The student’s individual voice should be clearly evident, and the ideas of others must be acknowledged, attributed, and/or cited.
A student who fails to acknowledge the source or author of any and all information or evidence taken from the work of someone else through citation, attribution, or reference in the body of the work, or through a bibliographic entry, will receive a score of 0 on that particular component of the AP Seminar and/or AP Research Performance Task. In AP Seminar, a team of students that fails to properly acknowledge sources or authors on the Team Multimedia Presentation will receive a group score of 0 for that component of the Team Project and Presentation.
A student who incorporates falsified or fabricated information (e.g. evidence, data, sources, and/or authors) will receive a score of 0 on that particular component of the AP Seminar and/or AP Research Performance Task. In AP Seminar, a team of students that incorporates falsified or fabricated information in the Team Multimedia Presentation will receive a group score of 0 for that component of the Team Project and Presentation.
The same requirements and penalty will be used for all work submitted to College Board, and we will use Turnitin as a guide. Please note that I will adhere to the Heritage High School plagiarism policy for all class work.
