A semester long course offering students an opportunity to learn about investing, compete in the Young Investor Society Stock Pitch and discover careers in the financial management field.
Stock Market Challenge | Students have an opportunity to compete in a live Stock Market Challenge at the University of Denver to see who can grow their initial $500,000 investment into the largest net worth mock stock portfolio.
Young Investors Society | Students have an opportunity to compete in the Young Investors Society Global Stock Pitch Competition where they (individually or in teams of two) create a "best stock idea" and analyze a publicly traded company.
Learn From Industry Professionals | Industry professionals from some of the Denver Metro area's premier financial service companies will help students discover careers that you can enter as you develop your investing knowledge.
Earn the Securities Industry Essentials Certificate | Students will prepare to take the SIE Exam (free of charge!), making them instantly marketable in the financial services field. This certificate is also a great compliment to any college degree to help get college graduates prepared for financial services.
SEMESTER 2: Financial Management
