A great way to help your child become a READER is to work on automatic recall of high frequency words that are phonetically irregular, or have phonetic patterns that have not yet been taught.

The students will practice reading and spelling 5 - 6 memory words from the current unit, and 4 - 5 from previous units.

Keep sight word learning fun!

  • Make flash cards from the lists that come home

  • Put them up all over the fridge

  • Save them for the car

  • Have your child test you

  • Alphabetize the list

  • Make a book

  • Etc....
