Mrs. DeStefano

(Mrs D)

....

Hello! My name is Suzy DeStefano, and I can't wait to start the year with your little ones!

This is my seventh year teaching in LPS, and 18th year teaching. I've taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades and have also been a reading interventionist. I taught English in S. Korea and we moved the whole family to Costa Rica for a year where I taught 3rd grade. I currently hold my elementary license with a reading endorsement and my MA in Curriculum and Instruction.

We have triplets that are turning 12 this year and will be in 6th grade at Euclid Middle School. We have a pandemic cat named Larry, who has quickly become a family favorite. My partner, Mr D, teaches English at Heritage High School. We love to explore the mountains of Colorado and travel the world when we get the chance. My favorite hobbies are biking, skiing, running, reading, and playing games. We're currently addicted to "Ticket to Ride".

I am really excited to get to meet and know your child this year.

Mrs. Neesen

....

Hello! My name is Kristi Neesen, and I am so excited about this upcoming year!

This is my sixth year teaching in LPS, and fifth year teaching first grade. I have taught 4th grade in the past, and have found that I truly love working with the younger students! I currently hold an Elementary Education BS Degree from the University of Central Florida, with focus and endorsements in the areas of reading and teaching English Language Learners.

I am originally from Orlando, FL and after 32 years of living in the heat and humidity, My husband and I decided to make the move to beautiful Colorado, and we could not be happier that we did! When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with our sons Walker (3 1/2) and Hudson (18 months), skiing, hiking, reading, and exploring all that this amazing state has to offer!

I am truly looking forward to meeting and working with each of you this year!
