First Grade lunch and recess is from 11:30 am - 12:10 pm. We will have two locations (weather permitting) where students will be allowed to eat. One is outside and the other is inside the cafeteria. We will rotate these locations by class.
Your child may bring a lunch from home or purchase a school lunch. Money can be placed in your child’s school lunch account online or by check in the cafeteria. If you send lunch money, please put it in an envelope or baggie with your child’s name on it and have your child give it to their teacher.
Each child is issued a student ID number, and is strongly encouraged to memorize this number as soon as possible. Please practice, since it is a big number! At lunch, the student gives the number to the cafeteria lady, and the appropriate amount is deducted from his or her lunch account. Before school, please discuss the lunch choices with your First Grader.
