Please check out the flyer to the left for information regarding the LPS Transition Services Pancake Breakfast! This is a great opportunity to learn more information about the program and get a chance to see the building.
Seniors: Transition matriculation meetings will be held April 21-23rd AT the Acoma Building. More specifics to come as meetings get scheduled!
At LHS, we want to ensure that students are well-rounded and that they have the skills to explore any activity that interests them.
Exposure to a variety of tasks that support independence, leisure skills, and vocational skills are important parts of each students' day.
Some students will have opportunities to work off campus.
Student's IEP goals will inform their placement to an appropriate math and reading class. Students will get a well-rounded amount of practice with reading, writing, and math across their courses to support generalization of skills. Students will work in small groups, 1:1, and in larger classes as appropriate.
