We strive to be a place where EVERYONE feels welcome and included regardless of finishing time, year in school, or any other social construct. We are a team that recognizes that all runners have something unique and positive to bring to the group and where no one feels like just a number. We promote respect for ourselves, for our teammates, for our school, for our competitors, and for our community through which we run. We aim to be a team of good people and good runners. As a whole, we celebrate personal best times, team victories, resiliency, and work ethic; all the while, learning from tough races, hard practices, set-backs, and missed opportunities. And, when we race, we all wear the same singlet because we compete together as Warriors.

One of the strangest, most wonderful compliments our coaching staff has received is when a parent was asked if her daughter was preparing for the season by running over the summer. The mother responded, “No. She hates running but loves cross country.” At first glance, it seems counterintuitive; but wouldn’t the opposite be so much worse - a kid who loves running but hates cross country? Obviously, we want our runners to love both the sport and the program; we do our best to help them find joy in both of these endeavors.
