Get college credit for taking Theatre Classes at AHS through Red Rocks Community College. CE Theatre Topics and CE Company are audition-only classes that you can take for concurrent enrollment. These classes audition each spring for enrollment the following year.
AHS's Theatre Department is a Career and Technical Education Program certified by the state of Colorado. In addition to giving us access to funding for our technical theatre department, this certification allows us to work with the LPS Theatre Tech Advisory Board. The board is made up of students, parents, teachers, and currently working industry professionals from the Denver Center, Littleton Town Hall Arts Center, Red Rocks Community College and more.
Technical Theatre Students are able to get Industry Certifications through USITT's BACKstage Exam. If you are interested in becoming certified, see Mr. Brooks.

Every December at the Thespian Conference over 40 college theatre programs audition students from across the state. Students are able to gain acceptance to these colleges and theatre programs, scholarships from individual colleges, and scholarships from CO Thespians.
