Nicole Covington

I am so excited to be your child's second grade teacher this school year! This is my eighth year teaching; my first three years I taught Kindergarten and this will be my fifth year teaching second grade.

My husband and I just got a new puppy this summer named Oppy! She joins our family along with our other dog Dexter. I also love playing volleyball, pickleball, skiing, and reading.

I grew up in Tampa, Florida and then attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!) where I received my bachelor’s degree in Special Education and my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career in Orlando, Florida where I taught for five years before moving to Colorado. I am a very passionate educator who loves to build relationships and make learning fun....AND we have a minion themed classroom!
