Hey there, stellar second graders! I am THRILLED to have you in class this year!
I am a Littleton native and have many memories here over the years both as a student in LPS and a teacher! I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Luther College in Northeastern Iowa and received my Masters Degree in Technology, Innovation and Pedagogy from the University of Northern Colorado in 2020. This is my 11th year teaching and 5th year at Ford! In the past 10 years I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade all in LPS. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and love to dive into all things reading and math.
Outside of school you can find me spending time in the mountains hiking, running, skiing, enjoying a cup of chai with friends, traveling and doing yoga! I also am a passionate reader and try to read 100 books a year. My favorite Second Grade Read-aloud is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie series by Laura Numeroff. My husband and I share our home with our chocolate labrador puppy, Moose!
I am honored to be a part of the Ford community and cannot wait for the year ahead!
My husband, Ryan, and I love to ski and travel!
Meet Moose!
