Open House will be similar to last year, as parents and students will come in two shifts. Visitors will be limited to two per household in addition to elementary students. Any daily medications for students should be signed in by a parent or guardian to the school nurse clinic during Open House.
Please click here (link coming soon) to fill out a car rider sign before Open House so that your child's car rider sign will be ready for you. Two signs can be picked up at Open House from your oldest child's homeroom teacher. If you need more than two signs, requests can be made through the front office. When you complete this form online, you will NOT need to fill out a paper request during Open House.
Desks sacks will be available for pre-order at Open House for $10 cash. You may also send in money in a labeled envelope/Ziploc through the first full week of school. Students will choose their desk sacks from multiple colors and patterns during the first week of school. These desk sacks are made by a retired HES teacher out of very strong duck cloth (a thick canvas-like material), are designed to perfectly fit our chairs, and will last the whole year. In my experience, store-bought desk sacks are too big and bulky for our chairs, rip easily, and do not last the whole year.
