The LHS Poetry Slam Team was established in September 2022 and is run by Mrs. Coe in Room 713. We are sponsored by Compass here at LHS and collaborate with our community by representing Freeverse! of the Lowell Poetry Wheel.
Plain and simple, we started with our appreciation of spoken word poetry. After watching some poems on Youtube, we thought we would try it out for ourselves! Each weekly meeting, open mic opportunity and slam have caused us to become a supportive, tight-knit, little family. Since then, we have been loving every minute and are finding great success as we took home the winning title of every slam we've competed in this year! We would love for you to join in on the fun and grow with us!
