BIODIVERSITY LOSS
ACCESS TO FINLAND CHALLENGE
As you have seen in the previous video, Finland has to deal with the problem of biodiversity loss. Some animal and plant species may be affected.
To solve this challenge you will have to access a virtual ecosystem and locate the different animal or plant species that could be in danger of extinction. Search well, because not all of them are.
When you find one, you will have to interact with it and obtain the necessary information or codes to be able to open the lock that will allow you to access the drawer where important information is found, codes to stop the timer and the next challenge.
Part of the information that you will find will be used to launch the space rocket that will intercept the asteroid, these important data are:
1) Coordinates of the appropriate launch site, without destroying ecosystems and reducing the chances of survival of the fauna that inhabits them.
2) Exact date and time to launch.
3) Amount of fuel required.
4) Explosive charge that allows the asteroid to be diverted from its current deadly trajectory.
Good search and good luck!
Audiovisual room, Finland zone.
Before you begin you must:
1. Be sure to have the following app installed: CoSpaces.
2. See the video that talks about Finland issues due to biodiversity loss.
3. See the video that explains the development of the game.
If you have followed the previous steps you are ready to start the game
Using the Cospaces viewer, they will scan a QR code that will take them to the game in Augmented Reality and access the virtual ecosystem.
This virtual scenario shows a possible Finnish ecosystem in which you will find different wild animal and plant species, some of which are in danger of extinction.
The challenge will be to locate different species to find out which of them are really in danger of extinction, because not all of them are. Through this exploration work it will be possible to obtain the necessary code to open the drawer.
Once opened, you will get:
A part of the Place, date and time for the launch of the rocket that will intercept the asteroid DS-KA2022.
The code to stop the stopwatch.
The next challenge.
Laptops, tablets or smartphones with CoSpaces App installed.
QR Code to access to this challenge.
1. Experimenting with augmented reality
2. Raise awareness of the problems that cause biodiversity loss.
3. Know what we have to do to better protect wild species of animals and plants.
