Mission Statement
We lead with kindness to promote school pride, encourage academic success, and build a caring, connected community.
To carry out our mission, we attend monthly PACK Planning meetings with our teacher advisers (PACK Guides) where we decide how we will power up our Core Claws (see below) with PACK projects, assist the middle school Leadership team, and support our Parent Teacher Club.
The Power of the PACK: Our Core Claws
Pride — We represent ourselves and our school with confidence while promoting school spirit.
Academics — We always try our best and encourage others to do the same. We celebrate academics!
Community — We work together to create a positive school culture and represent HCP in our town.
Kindness — We lead with compassion while working to spread kindness in our community.
PACK member selected for the Spring 2026 Term will be part of the Kodiak PACK from January to the end of the school year in June.
PACK members will attend one lunch meeting each month to plan and execute the monthly PACK projects (see "PACK Projects" Page for some ideas as to what these could be) and discuss how we can support our middle school Leadership team and the Parent Teacher Club.
Each PACK member is committed to participating in two PACK projects for the term. PACK members may participate in as many projects as they want, but two is the minimum.
PACK projects are completed mostly during lunch with a few being after school (optional and limited); PACK members will NOT miss instructional class time during the school day.
After school PACK projects may occasionally occur. For example, the PACK may decide to cheer on the Kodiaks at an athletic event, or may want to decorate classroom doors after dismissal. Parents will be notified about these activities ahead of time! Again, these are optional and not required!
