NOTE:  Beginning July 1, 2025, Massachusetts residents will experience significant reductions in access to statewide research databases due to the elimination of federal funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), following Executive Order 14238. While the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) and the Massachusetts Library System (MLS) are striving to preserve key services, including support for eBooks and the Commonwealth Catalog, many valuable resources will no longer be available.

Most of these digital resources are provided free of change to Massachusetts public school libraries with licensed school librarians by the Massachusetts Library System.

General Reference

Sora/Overdrive provides access to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks. Over 180 eBooks are always available in Sora and set for simultaneous use by more than one user. Check out the list of them here: Always Available eBooks in Sora.

To login to Sora:

1. On the login page, choose "My school is MLS Commonwealth eBook collection".

2. In the Sora/Overdrive drop-down menu of school districts, choose "Longmeadow Town Schools", then login with your school email.
