This course is designed for individuals interested in personal wellness, physical activity, and nutrition. Students will participate in traditional and non-traditional activities that address basic wellness principles. Activities will include but are not limited to, yoga, walking, weight training, and racquet sports. Students will complete regular self-assessments of physical, emotional, and social wellness and will create and implement personal plans to address all aspects of wellness. Periodic classroom lessons will focus on navigating common social pressures of senior year and maintaining wellness after high school.
