• Winter update of the Lancer Military Memorial Garden (located just off the main lobby for LHS).

• Create and send  "care packages" to members of our Lancer family who are actively serving in the military. 

• Yankee Swap to celebrate the upcoming holiday break!

• Plan for April - Purple-Up! Month 

• Plan for our annual "purple ribbon" fundraiser. 

• Plan and prepare to honor graduating seniors with  "Blue Star Bundles".

April

• Participate in national Purple-Up! Month , a nationwide campaign aimed at raising awareness of the challenges a military child faces.

• Honor Purple Star Lancers - current and new Purple Stars- at the Spring Pep Rally.

• Honor seniors entering military service/military academy/ROTC program with "Blue Star Bundles"  (commemorative "care packages") presented at the Spring Pep Rally.

May/June

• Spring update of the Lancer Military Memorial Garden (located just off the main lobby for LHS). 

• Plan for and then conduct a Memorial Day Address for the whole school (over intercom) and encourage all to acknowledge Memorial Day by visiting the Lancer Military Memorial Garden. 

• At the Adult Education commencement ceremony we'll present a "Blue Star Bundle" to each graduate entering military service/military academy/ROTC program.

• Year-End Celebration!
