SchoolAI

An online tool that provides a wide variety of AI tools for teachers. It includes creation tools that help with lesson plans, rubrics, syllabi, IEPs, and more. It also provides teachers with specific “assistants” to help with things like curriculum planning, digital literacy, and even field trip planning. Finally, it has what are called Spaces - essentially custom chatbots developed by teachers for use with students. When teachers use these Spaces with students, they are able to see a transcript of the conversation as well as an AI generated evaluation of the students’ session.

Restrictions & Limitations

Spaces are limited to 150 sessions per day. Students cannot create SchoolAI accounts, but Spaces are designed to be created by teachers and used by students with no login required.

Overall Assessment

SchoolAI is the most comprehensive AI tool that we have access to and the only one that provides teachers with a way to have their students interact with AI. The creation tools in SchoolAI are extensive and always growing. The variety of “assistants” are not much different from other AI chatbots, but they work well. The real game changer for SchoolAI is the Spaces. These bots keep students engaged in the conversation and help the students to think critically about whatever topic the teacher wants.
