Google’s version of an AI chatbot that uses large language models to answer users’ questions in a comprehensive way. It can export responses to Gmail and Google Docs. If you ask it to create a table, it can export that table to Google Sheets as well. Gemini features a built-in tool to “double-check” the results that the bot provides. This provides users with context and sources. Gemini also includes an option to upload a photo, which allows users to ask questions related to that photo. However, it does not work with photos that include people. Gemini saves all conversations so users can refer back to them later if needed.

Overall Assessment
Gemini is a good tool for quick chatbot conversations to get information or to begin researching a topic. It is a strong alternative to a traditional Google search. It is not the best tool for creating immediately usable content.
