Microsoft’s version of an AI chatbot that uses large language models to answer users’ questions in a comprehensive way. It can export responses to Word, a PDF file, or plain text. If you ask it to create a table, it can export that to Excel. Copilot provides sources for all of its responses directly under the response without the need to click anywhere else. Copilot also includes an option to upload a photo, which allows users to ask questions related to that photo. However, it does not work with photos that include people. Copilot can generate images based on user prompts (though it is limited to a certain amount per day).

Restrictions & Limitations
Users must be logged in to use Copilot. Students are not able to use this tool as the terms require users to be over the age of 18. Limited amount of formatting in responses. Copilot does NOT save conversations.
Overall Assessment
Copilot is a good tool for quick chatbot conversations to get information or to begin researching a topic. It is a strong alternative to a traditional search. It is not the best tool for creating immediately usable content.
