Beginning Animation is a prerequisite and must be taken before this advanced class. Let the magic continue in Advanced Stop-Motion Animation as we improve our basic skills to create longer movies with sets and plans for the stories. Beginning and Advanced skills will be reviewed and taught as needed. Materials to animate will be self-selected for most projects and this year we are adding modeling clay to our list of materials and studying the art of clay-mation. Students must enter their first movie into the National PTA Art Reflections Contest this Fall. The theme this year is, “Accepting Imperfection”.  Two students have made it to the state level and many others have been recognized by the Santa Barbara County Education Office. Students will also have a chance to create animated announcements for the Bronco Broadcasts that are shared with the entire campus monthly. Movies will also be shared with parents at the evening Showcase events.
