Social Stories are a nice way to give language and a visual representation to a targeted social skill (e.g., handling frustration, greetings, tolerating changes, etc.). It won't change behavior on its own, and should be viewed as part of a package for behavior change. However, at the very least it can be a nice opener for having discussion with your learner about various topics. On this page you will find links to pages that will provide you with a multitude of social stories, and learn the different component required.
You will specifically find tools to help explain to your learner how to cope with social distancing and possible concerns regarding COVID-19.
