Arrival and Dismissal

7:30 - 7:50 Students can enter the front doors to eat breakfast

7:45 - 7:50 Students are dropped off and walk to the playground area behind the school

7:50 - 7:55 Teachers greet students as they enter the classrooms

7:50 - 8:00 Students work on Self Start

8:00 School begins

Students should not arrive before the opening of the building, unless coming for breakfast. It is important to remember that there is no adult supervision on school grounds before 7:45 am and after 2:05 pm. Unless a child is involved with After-School Club, or other programs. The arrival bell rings at 7:50 am, music begins playing to enter the building at 7:55, and students are expected to be in their seats at 8:00 am. The dismissal bell rings at 2:05 pm.

Late Students:

8:00 - 8:15 Parents need to check in students with Mrs. Hardy in the office and will be marked tardy.

Morning Kindergarten:

8:00 a.m. - 10:20 a.m.

Afternoon Kindergarten:

11:30 a.m. - 2:05 p.m.

There is no Kindergarten on ½ days: see District Calendar

• Drop off/pick up your student(s) at the curb and have your student(s) enter/exit the car on the curbside to avoid traffic

• Stay in your vehicles

• Send your student to their designated area

• Student(s) will stay in line during arrival and dismissal procedures

• Follow the car in front as you exit the drop off and pick up area

• Double parking is not allowed

• If crossing the street, students must use the designated crosswalk with the guard

For obvious safety reasons, students should not open the car doors until they are next to the curb.

Short term parking is available in the south parking lot. Long term parking is available in the east parking lot across from the school. There will be no long term parking around the building.

A friendly reminder to parents: double parking is not permitted. Parking in the “No Parking Buses Only” sections at any time of the day is not permitted. These parking violations will be closely monitored and if necessary, drivers will be ticketed. There is no parking allowed in the pick up/drop off sites at any time of the day. If students are not present at the pick up sites, parents will have to circle around until their student is readily available to be picked up. Alternative parking can be found across the street.
