I have been a TAFE member for the past two years at Lockhart High School. Through TAFE, I have been able to spread my wings and become a leader who is capable of inspiring others.
I actively involve myself in my school and community, ensuring I dedicate my time to extend a helping hand whenever possible, striving to contribute to the well-being of others.
My greatest aspiration is to pursue a career as an educator. Witnessing the impact educators have had on my life has fueled my inspiration to follow in their footsteps and make a similar difference in the lives of others.
I am so excited to see what this TAFE season brings, and I can't wait to see all of us become the next generation of educators!

Lockhart Leadership Camp is hosted annually by the Lockhart High School TAFE Leadership Team for the Junior High TAFE officers.
The purpose of this one day workshop is to promote character, service, and leadership skills necessary for becoming effective members of TAFE and leaders for their organzation, school, and community.

This exclusive retreat for TAFE leaders is designed to give our student officers an opportunity to develop leadership skills, participate in team building activities, and work together collaboratively to plan their area conferences.
Who can attend?
This training retreat is open to all TAFE chapters that have been elected to a state or area office (President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Secretary, Historian) and local chapter officers.
Schools may bring up to 2 teacher leaders and 6 students.

I've been a member of TAFE for 7 years, and have grown so much through this organization since I joined in 6th grade. I have built lifelong friendships, strengthened leadership and teamwork skills, and created priceless memories that I will cherish forever.
I am a multi-sport athlete at Lockhart High School and participate in many different organizations alongside of TAFE in my school, and community.
My goal is to become a primary school teacher and educate children Pre-K through 5th grade. I want to become an educator, because teachers can inspire and impact future generations of students and instill a passion for life long learning. I aspire to leave a positive mark on the world by educating our future, and making a difference daily in the lives of the students I teach.
