Great Day with the 8th Grade Experience at LHS! 

Education & Training students guided tours through the halls of CTE and educated incoming freshman on the endorsement pathways and industry based certifications they could earn based on their 4 year graduation plan! 

Got to say TAFE'S new Promotional Gear is awesome!! The table looked amazing at our Annual Future Fest held at Lockhart High School.  

Did you know that Seniors who complete the Education and Training pathway receive an Industry Based Certification as an Educational Aide and are certified to be a classroom aide across Texas, in any/all school districts upon graduation?!?!

The future is looking bright for career readiness and employment at LHS!

Our very own, Jacque Roe attended the SBOE meeting and was present for the official Proclamation making February CTE month !

TAFE State Officers help spread awareness about CTE Month and the benefits of joining a Career Technical Student Organization during High School.

To enhance awareness of TAFE and the Education and Training pathway we implemented Loyalty Cards for all Officer and General meeting through the year - Each meeting you attend, you get to PUNCH OUT your card.  Fill all 10 slots and you are entered into our end-of-the year $50 Amazon Gift Card drawing!  

When you card is filled - pick up a new one and start again!  

TAFE host an annual Award Ceremony to recognize and and award members who have excelled in extracurricular activities and academics.  

We recognize local and competitive members PLUS have our Educational Aide I students sign their letter of commitments to teach in the future with LISD!  

Its a great night of celebration and FUN for all!
