We will all be learning together! We are excited about the lessons our teachers have planned for students, but we know there may be some questions or hiccups along the way. For this reason, we encourage parents to partner with and stay in communication with your child’s teacher with any concerns you may have.

During this time students are participating in distance learning, it would be a good idea for you to help your child figure out a good workspace for their school work. It does not have to be a formal space, but it does need to be an area where your child knows he or she can work each day and focus on learning.
Consider what type of learning environment best suits their individual needs. For example, does your child work better in quiet space, or do they prefer to have some light background sound like music? Does your child do better following a routine with set times during the day to do their work? Think about the ways you can help your child have the best possible environment for their work.

If you or your child has a question about an assignment, or how to log in to iStation, Dreambox, Seesaw, or any other learning program, please contact your child’s teacher. They can easily help walk you through how to access the programs.
For other technical problems, such as non-working Chromebooks or iPads, issues logging into the Chromebooks or iPads, and other issues related to the device, you can contact the Tech Helpline and leave a message at 512-398-0050. Someone will call you back within 24 hours of receiving your message during the work week. If you call during the weekend, someone will get back with you Monday. Thank you for your patience.
