Hours

Sensory Hour (10:30 am – 11:30 am)

Locke families are invited to enjoy a calmer start to the fair. Music will be gradually introduced, and there will be significantly fewer people. While this is a special time set aside for our school community, please reach out to us (events@lockepta.org) if your child would benefit from participating in the Sensory Hour. 

Locke Access (10:30 am – 12:00 pm)

Locke families are invited to enjoy the first hour and a half of the fair with smaller crowds and shorter lines. This is a special time set aside for our school community before the fair opens more widely.

School Tour (12:00 pm – 1:00 pm)

You'll experience some of the Locke magic just by being at the fair, but we invite you to come inside to see what really makes our school so special! Meet some teachers, see the classrooms, learn about the curriculum, and experience firsthand why Locke is such an amazing community. If you're taking the school tour, you can arrive as early as 11:30 to purchase wristbands and be ready for the tour!

Performances (1:00 pm – 2:00 pm)

Join us at the main stage for an hour of music, dance, and community performances by Locke students, families, and teachers.

Learn How to Ride a Bike! (2:00 pm – 4:00 pm)

Bike New York is providing FREE bike-riding lessons for children ages 5-18! Pre-registration is required, space is limited, and you'll need to bring a bike and helmet to participate. Sign up here to register!

Festival Hours (12:00 pm – 4:00 pm)

From bounce houses and crafts to food and games, all activities will be running until 4:00 pm.

The fair is open rain or shine, and families are welcome to come and go throughout the day. Please note that if it rains, we’ll move the fair inside the school. Indoor space is limited, so some community partners and activities may not be available. Wristbands are nonrefundable, but we’ll do everything we can to make it a fun day for everyone who joins us!
