Welcome kindergarten families! My name is Katelyn Wolfgang and I am extremely excited to be a part of your student's educational experience here at Pine Road Elementary School. I would like to introduce myself personally and professionally so you all can get to know me better. 

I would first like to share that I am an alumni of the Lower Moreland Township School District and have been a part of the community for my entire life. Before working at Pine Road, I attended Penn State University, where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education pre-K-4 and English as a Second Language certification.  Upon graduation, I immediately began working towards my master's degree and attended the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. Here, I received my Masters in Education and a Reading Specialist Certification. I am a lifelong learner and am committed to learning alongside my students. 

As a teacher, my goal is to provide a safe learning environment for your students to reach their full learning potential in the classroom. I use the language "the classroom" because it is important to note that this is not my classroom, this is our classroom. While your students are in the classroom their voices will be heard and we will create a classroom environment together as a team. 

Over this year, I plan to lead the classroom with kindness, respectfulness, and open-mindedness. The students within the classroom will be my number one priority and my focus will be on providing them with the best education possible. I will foster a love of learning in the classroom and will guide your students on an exciting academic journey.
