Welcome to Collaboration & Creativity, more commonly known as C&C! This course centered on the idea that all humans are inherently creative and that, through creative work, we explore our personal identities, collaborate with others, and generate culture.
In this course, we will explore what creativity looks like to YOU and to our class as a whole. We all have the capacity to be creative, and this class will help you find your creative identity and enjoy it! You will learn to express yourself through a variety of activities and projects and then practice responding in a respectful and productive way. Shared creativity and respect towards others’ creativity will strengthen our school and local community!
This course is flexible and will guide students through exploring various skills. In each unit, we will expose students to new skills and experiences. Then, students will have opportunities to work in small groups to complete creative projects. These projects will have a lot of room for creativity and variation in a way that will help all students connect with and enjoy the experience. No matter what your experience level is, all students will show creativity, collaboration, and many other skills through this course.
