So, what are the Mighty 100s?
The Mighty 100s are a series of progressive rhythm exercises that are meant to cement rhythmic literacy through a common rhythmic language (in this case a modified Eastman system, but that's neither here nor there). Students have one sheet due a month, with the exception of September.
If you have already done the sheets for another music class, it counts for this one!
1-10
11-20
21-30
31-40
When are they due?
Each sheet is due the last day of the month, with the exception of September, which doesn't have one due. So, 1-10 is due in October, 11-20 November, and so on. If you have already completed a sheet in another music course, that completion counts for Music Major.
How will I turn it in?
Well, we're working on that. At the moment, we're going to be turning it in through MusicFirst or Flipgrid. If school changes, we'll change with it.
Do I have to go in order?
Yes.
Here's the lmhsmusic.org Mighty 100s page. It has all the info you would ever want to know, including a link to the complete packet.
