It is strongly encouraged that students who wish to get more in-depth training in vocal music work with a private voice teacher. The one-on-one instruction in vocal technique and solo repertoire that a private voice teacher can offer is the ideal complement to the ensemble training offered in our school choirs. Private instruction is especially important for students who are interested in majoring in music in college, especially when it comes to college audition preparation.

There are a number of private voice teachers in and around our community. When choosing a teacher, it's important to shop around and look for somebody who is a comfortable fit for you.

This is a list of voice teachers who are known to us at LMHS. The list consists only of teachers for whom we have contact information, and we cannot vouch for any of them personally.
