Year 5

The title of Leon's poem is 'Me, the little bird and the bell' and it was written in 1924. It is about how we are all different and that is ok. It is Leon's favourite poem which he learnt in Japanese nursery.

Lev is reading an excerpt from the novel ‘Yevgeny Onegin’ by Aleksandr Sergeevich Pushkin. He is describing a winter’s day in the village where the main character of his novel lived. It is set in 1823.
