Dr. Carolina Meza Perez from Resilient Communities

Case Management

During case management, you may meet with one of our staff to discuss potential resources you and/or your family may benefit from or be interested in, such as fun family activities or utilities information. In addition, you can ask professionals about their career paths and how they managed their time and stress.

Initial Intake Appointment

If you are in need of more support, you will be recommended to meet with one of our mental health professionals where we will ask many questions to better understand your challenges and how we can best assist your and or your family. During this appointment, you will receive recommendations on what type of therapy will be best for your circumstances.

Individual Therapy

In individual therapy, you or your parent will meet with a mental health professional to discuss the challenges presented during the initial intake appointment. If the therapy is for the minor, parents will be asked to be involved at least 10% of the time.

Family Therapy

Sometimes challenges are found within the family and are best addressed within the family unit. The same family members that joined during the first therapy appointment will be the only ones allowed to be part of future appointments.

Group Therapy a.k.a. Workshop

Group therapy tends to be 75 to 90 minutes in length where a group of individuals meet to learn how to manage similar concerns and provide each other with support.
