The MISSION of Dual Credit:

The Mission of the Longview Dual Credit Program is to provide our students with a quality education that blends the high school and college experiences while exposing students to a rigorous and relevant curriculum that will prepare them to perform in a globally competitive society.

Academic Dual Credit courses are designed for students to use toward their core curriculum, Associate of Arts (AA), or an Associate of Science (AS) degree.  Some of the more popular academic courses are American History, English Composition, American Government, Economics, Psychology, College Algebra, Art Appreciation and Speech.  The courses listed above satisfy core curriculum requirements and will transfer to any public college or university in the state of Texas as core curriculum.
