Foster GT Selection Process:
Each fall students enrolled in LISD take the IOWA test which is a standardized test in reading and math skills. Scores on this test can indicate if a student should be tested for GT services. A parent, teacher, or couselor can recommend a student be screend for enrollment in the GT program at Foster Middle School by contacting their school counselor or Ms. Sparks at Foster.

Parents are encouraged to read over the grading policies for GT as they are more rigorous than non GT classes. It is important that parents and students understand their responsibilities as a GT student.
