SUMMER READING REQUIREMENTS-6TH GRADE GT and Honors

6th grade students are required to read one of the following two novels: The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne, or Wonder by R.J. Palacio.

Assignments for these books will be assigned during the first six weeks.

6th Grade History/World Geography

Students must come to Foster knowing the locations on the map of all 50 US states as well as their capital cities.

Math Skills Required entering 6th Grade

• Memorize multiplication facts 0-12

• Adding and Subtracting Fractions with different denominators
