Important News!

Wifi Passwords have been updated and will have two dollar signs ($$) at the end of them. Email passwords will only have one dollar sign at the end.  More information about signing in is below and at this page.

Summer 2025 Updates

IMPORTANT - Email passwords were reset on August 1st. For 6th and 7th grades, they are your L number followed by a dollar sign ($). For 8th-12th grades, they are LA plus your L number followed by a dollar sign ($).  

1. • 6th and 7th grade example - L12345678$

   • 8th-12th grade example - LAL12345678$

Other Reminders

1. • Check your email occasionally during the summer.

   • Please do not use your Lipscomb Academy email to log into social media accounts or any accounts that are non-school related. Those accounts need to be used with a personal email address.

   • Class of 2026 - your email accounts will be available for three months after graduation.

   • If you are not returning to Lipscomb Academy, your account will be deactivated. Get any information (emails, Google Docs, etc.) from your account asap.

To log on to email:

• • 1. Go to gmail.com. If it doesn't ask for your email address, look for a Sign In button.

    2. Enter your full school email address (username@lipscombacademy.org) and click Next

    3. Enter your password, (usually your L number followed by a $), and click Next

General Information

• • • Student email accounts are available for 3rd through 12th graders.

    • New student email accounts are created near the start of school.

    • As new students are enrolled during the school year, those accounts are usually created within two or three days after enrollment.

    • High school students  in a Lipscomb University class or a dual-enrolled class, please see the information below.

First Time Users:

• • • Read the information below to determine your username and password.

    • Go to gmail.com

    • Enter username@lipscombacademy and click Next

    • Enter your password and click Next

    • Agree to Google's terms of use and follow the prompts for setting up your account.

Username:

• • • Student usernames are usually the first initial, middle initial, last name. If your name is William James Smith, your username would most likely be wjsmith. If there was another wjsmith before you, your username might have a digit after it.

    • Usernames contain no spaces and no punctuation. Capitalization does not matter with usernames.

    • In some cases, your username may be followed by a digit.

    • Please contact phil.sander@lipscomb.edu if you cannot determine your username.

Changing your Password:

Dual Enrolled Students and Students Taking University Classes

If you are in a dual enrolled class or a university class, you will most likely receive a university email address in addition to your Academy email address. It is your responsibility to check your university email address also. If you change your password for the university, it will also change your Academy email password as well as your wifi password. Seniors, if you enroll at the university during your senior year, that process creates a university email for you.
