FACTS for Parents and Students

- - FACTS Family Portal Login
  - Our district code for FACTS is DLCS-TN.
  - Family Portal is for students also.
  - Students/Parents - If you run into problems, please contact phil.sanders@lipscomb.edu. Please include the student name and grade level.
  - There is an app available for FACTS called the FACTS Family App. It should be available in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store. There is a $4.99 annual fee per family for using the app that is charged by FACTS. FACTS does not give our school any administrative access to the app.
  - If you don't want to use the app, the Family Portal site can be used in a browser on a mobile device.

First-time Users

- 1. More detailed illustrated instructions
  2. You must have an email address entered in FACTS. This is usually done as part of the admissions process. You can only set up a FACTS account based on that email address.
  3. Click here to access Family Portal.
  4. Click on the "Create New Account" link.
  5. Enter your email address and click the "Create Account" button.
  6. A link for Family Portal will be emailed to you (check your spam or trash folder if you don't see it).
  7. Click on the link in the email. Create your username and password and click on Create Account.
  8. You'll receive confirmation that the account has been created. That will have a link that will take you back to the log in screen.
  9. You can use the link above for subsequent logins or bookmark the logon page in your browser. Please note that we don't recommend bookmarking any pages past the login page.

Returning Users:

- 1. Click here to access Family Portal.
  2. Enter your username (usually your email address) and your password.
  3. Click the Log in button.

- 1. Click here to access Family Portal.
  2. Click on the "Forgot Password?" link.
  3. Enter your email address and click the "Reset Password" button.
  4. If you don't receive an email from FACTS, check your spam folder.

Updating Family Information in FACTS

- 1. Click here to access Family Portal.
  2. Once logged on to Family Portal, click on School on the left (it may already be open).
  3. Click on Web Forms.
  4. Click on Family Demographics and Student Medical in the right pane.
  5. You should see a "Student Demographic Form" link for each student in your family along with links for other family members. Select the link, update any information and click on the "Save" button at the bottom.
  6. Click the "Return to Main Form" button at the top to return to the list of all forms.
  7. Student medical information, custodial parent information, emergency contact information, and grandparent information can all be updated in the same way.
  8. Many changes made in FACTS are not immediate. They must go through an approval process before the changed information is viewable in FACTS.

Please note:

- - If your email address has not been entered into FACTS, you will get an error message. Please use the contact information below and be sure to include your child's name and grade level.
  - If FACTS says that your password has been emailed but you do not receive it, please check your junk or spam email folder.
  - Lipscomb's district code for FACTS is DLCS-TN.
  - Students in grades 6-12 will be able to use their school email address to get their password. In many cases their accounts have already been set up.
  - Your student email address must be activated before logging on to FACTS. Student email information.

Other problems?

- - To see schedules, click on Student Information then Schedules. Select the desired child from the tabs and then click View Schedule. This will probably work better from a computer rather than a phone.
  - For other problems, please email Phil Sanders (phil.sanders@lipscomb.edu) and include the student's full name and grade level.
