I've been teaching this course since 2012. Knowing that most of my students won't go on to become neuroscientists, it's important to me that each of my students learn basic principles of how the brain works, circuits and neurotransmitters associated with different aspects of behavior, and how to test the relationship between these biological and behavioral factors. Regardless of the individual's future goals, the hope is to gain a reverence for the Creator by studying the creation.
