Internships can be FOR- CREDIT or NON-CREDIT. Both experiences are very valuable. For-Credit Interns will need to attend an orientation with the Career Development Center.
Guidelines and Process for Internship Credit:
Gain approval for your internship from your Faculty Coordinator (Dr. Spivey)
Attend an Internship Orientation with the Career Development Center
REGISTER for the Internship Class (requires Instructor Approval override)
HOUR Requirements
1 hour of academic credit = 130 total hours worked (10 hours a week for 13 weeks)
2 hours of academic credit= 156 total hours worked (12 hours a week for 13 weeks)
3 hours of academic credit= 195 total hours worked (15 hours a week for 13 weeks)
